Cruise on The Big Blue
Location : Greece - Ionian IslandsLevel of difficulty : 1 / 5
Distances :
45 nautical miles
Discover the islands from the coast but also explore inland for a different perspective.
A combination of kayaking and daily walks, perfect for those who want to learn to kayak, see the most remote islands of the Ionian archipelago and experience the kayak touring lifestyle.
This trip takes you to the islands of Meganissi, Kalamos and Kastos.
Discover three different worlds… Meganissi, a former pirate haunt and the picturesque villages of Spartochori, Katomeri on the north coast, the island of Kalamos, with its Mediterranean vegetation and historical interest (Kalamos and Kastos are car free)…The secret island retreat of Kastos and its only village; the desert island of Formikoula … except for a few colonies of gulls and shearwaters who share their territory with a monk… Fascinating.
This beautiful last stage (27 km) ends paddling along the magnificent west coast of Meganissi…
The trip is accessible to everyone, but you need to be in good physical condition to cope with the possibility of gusts of wind.
This is for small groups of 4 to 8 participants max. It can be programmed on request for existing groups.
